Eric Davis (Ph.D, University of Chicago) is professor of political science, Executive Director of the MA Program in Political Science – United Nations and Global Policy Studies, and former director of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Rutgers University. He also directs the Global Futures University Consortium, an international association of global policy analysts. Dr. Davis was a Carnegie Scholar in 2007-2008 and regularly lectures at the US 
Department of State’s Foreign Service Institute and presents in Arabic on al-Jazeera Television. In addition to his many notable publications, he is also currently writing a book, Combatting Terrorism in the 21st Century: the Islamic State, Boko Haram and Beyond
